Post-Production
Post-production is the stuff that comes after the filming or in this case rendering of shots. The stuff in production like the editing, sound, and compositing that would go into shots.
Junior Environments 4 - Joi
This was part of my group's environments project 4 piece. We decided to add the character Joi to our Bladerunner based scene. This was my main focus compositing wise. Joi needed to have a somewhat holographic effect because it would have been a lot harder to have that detail rendered in. We also had some rain that we wanted to add so the compositing was inevitable.
Senior Thesis
These are a handful of the compositing I did for my senior thesis. The top column is the raw render with no compositing changes on my end, while the column below that is the final version of the shot. I particularly like these shots. I tweaked mainly the brightness of the lights because many of the shots in/showing the outdoors felt overcast. I also added some color a little to make the mood what we were looking for on a few of the shots. Like the shot in the second row the weather feels overcast but in the final version of the shot below it feels a lot more like the middle of the afternoon. Some I darkened some lights to add the shadows back in, like I did for the shot in the first row.
